Few desserts speak the language of Italianness like tiramisu.

Its strength lies in its simplicity, but it is precisely this balance that makes it delicate to make, and this is where the coffee makes the difference!

For a perfect result, you need a deep, aromatic espresso , capable of blending with the mascarpone cream without overpowering it.

Caffè Milani Private Collection This is our recommendation: an elegant blend, built on soft and persistent notes, which gives character and finesse to Italy's most beloved dessert.

Ingredients for 6-8 servings

  • 4 eggs
  • 100 g of sugar
  • 500 g of mascarpone
  • 300 g of ladyfingers
  • 200 ml of Caffè Milani Private Collection
  • Bitter cocoa to taste

Preparation

Prepare an intense espresso with Caffè Milani Private Collection and let it cool.

Separate the yolks from the whites and beat the yolks with the sugar until you obtain a light and frothy cream.

Add the mascarpone and mix gently. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold them into the cream.

Quickly dip the ladyfingers in the coffee and form a layer on the bottom of a baking dish or individual cups.

Cover with cream, then repeat until the last layer.

Dust with bitter cocoa and leave to rest in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
