Low-impact innovation
Our Lipomo (Como) facility is designed to reduce consumption and emissions. The large windows take advantage of natural light. The roasters are equipped with catalytic converters to reduce emissions. The air conditioning is powered by renewable sources thanks to a photovoltaic system. Efficiency is a value, sustainability is a daily goal.
The raw material
Certified sustainability, right from the start
We select only green coffee from producers who adopt farming practices that respect the environment and people. With our "Action" line, we choose certified organic crops that exclude pesticides and chemicals at every stage of production. Each bean tells a story of care, quality, and commitment to the future.
Il progetto coinvolge direttamente le comunità agricole locali, che si prenderanno cura delle piantagioni e ne beneficeranno nel tempo. Un impegno che unisce sostenibilità ambientale, responsabilità etica e valorizzazione delle origini del caffè.
In collaborazione con Treedom, Caffé Milani ha avviato un progetto di riforestazione con la piantumazione di alberi di caffè in Colombia e in Kenya. Un gesto concreto per ridurre l’impatto ambientale della filiera e restituire valore alla terra, contribuendo alla biodiversità e al benessere del pianeta.

The materials
More responsible packaging, zero compromises
Reduce, recycle, simplify. We are introducing single-material packaging and easily recyclable solutions, such as paper, cardboard, and tinplate. We are working to eliminate the use of aluminum foil in bags, maintaining food safety and the sensory quality of the product.
