We are honored to announce that our organic mixture Action Espresso Bio received, from IEI (Istituto Espresso Italiano), the new PREMIUM brand .
Action, to obtain this important certification, was subjected to an advanced evaluation protocol and underwent a double check . First a sensory test conducted, according to the method of the International Institute of Coffee Tasters (IIAC), by a group of specialized tasters. This was then followed a chemical analysis to check the quality of the product in terms of aromatic molecules.
The coffee knows different levels of quality . For this reason, it is necessary to make the products more recognisable. top of the range to give guarantee of excellence to customers at the bar.
Sensory analysis was entrusted to a group of Super Tasters, professionals with advanced training to precisely identify the coffee's sensory characteristics. Chemical analysis, on the other hand, was performed in an independent laboratory to identify the molecules responsible for the most serious defects in coffee: geosmin, trichloranisole, and tetrachloroanisole. These molecules are responsible for odors such as earth, mold, odor, and phenolics, and are often present in very bitter and strongly astringent coffees.
The analyses carried out on Action have not detected the presence of these molecules, which is why Our blend passed the test with flying colors . The organic blend Action obtained a score higher than 85 points as required by the specifications IEI , thus receiving the PREMIUM brand.
